I'm not a big SF fan so i could really care less but i know there are some members here that will be pleased by this info. Yes, Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike is being released on the PlayStation 2. No details have been released, in regards to the 'price' or 'release date', but Capcom stated they would be releasing a limited pack in addition to a standard release. www.famitsu.com/

[Ash]Groovey[/Ash]. SF3: Third Strike is one of the greatest 2D fighters ever.

I still haven't played this game but other then the pretty animation what makes it so good? I heard the gameplay is more like SF2 then SFAlpha, i just don't see how the gameplay could be better then motw.

If you can master parrying it helps a lot. Although parrying certain things like a super fireball is pointless because you can get kicked in the face before your even finished parrying it.

If there was one game that I'd buy a Dreamcast for, it's this one. Superb news I'd say.

I'd be nice if they included some new extras with it.

Technically, it may well be the best 2D fighter ever. You should try it, historically it's been the Capcom game most liked be SNk fans.

I suppose i should atleast give it a try then. Blockbuster seems to be going thru an asshole trend about not getting the latest 2d fighters. Anyways, thanks for the insight Goukistar, everybody i know loves this game and i intended on finding out whats makes that so.

I'd like to agree but I've never been able to play SF3 seriously, I don't quite know why but I can never get myself interested in it and I hate some of the characters in there. The graphics are amazing and I know the gameplay is good, but I'd rather play MotW still (personal choice). I guess I'll have to buy the PS2 version when it comes out and give it yet another go... would be nice if they included some extras compared to the DC version, but I doubt they will... Kaz
