Oh man, I can't wait for this game! I think my current PC will be just about enough to get it running, but I will have to upgrade my graphics card I think as this one is a bit sucky. I have a few months left until April anyway, so it should be cool I dunno if any of you guys tried it, but I did briefly play the alpha version of the game that leaked out a while back. It was horribly slow and the game was very early, but even then I could see how much potential the game had. This is one PC game I will buy for sure if it lives up to that potential! Kaz

I haven't played a Doom game in years. I use to play Doom 2 like crazy and got this expansion pack with like 500 bonus levels.

Yeah, classic Doom was great for its time, and is still fun even now. I feel like I've been waiting for an age to play Doom 3... in fact it *has* been an age really. Final Doom was released about 6-7 years ago wasn't it?

LOL, it´s Goemon´s fault, he picked that shot. But yeah, i really want to play this, saw the long trailer and it rocked. I have a pretty up to date PC but even those are still inferior to the games they sometimes make nowadays, it´s insane. They really think you have nasa compartments in your pc at home.......

Yeah, the only way to play some games at 100% would be to buy the PC that was on ebay recently. Nvidia donated it to charity or something so they could keep the profits, basically it was all of the VERY BEST components you could get, plus some awesome pads/joysticks etc. They even threw in 6 hours of "game training" or something... teaching lamers how to play video games or something I still get the feeling even that PC wouldn't run Doom 3 with a 100% stable frame rate though Kaz

Hmm, looks great, but no way that my pc is going to be able to handle this, even with a new graphics card. I just hope they don't mess up the xbox conversion, especially the controls.

I hope all FPS developers on the X box take an example on the controles of HALO. For me it even playes better than a mouse/keybord combo on the pc.

Halo was a very good example of how to do a FPS on a console (and I'm pretty damn good with a pad anyway), but I have grown accustomed to the mouse/keyboard combo on the PC for this kind of game. As well as Halo controls, I still get the feeling that someone using the typical PC setup would *OWN* anyone using a pad, no matter how good they are with it.

That is very true... did I ever tell you the story of the guy that came into my workplace years ago and bought Tomb Raider for the Playstation? He came in the next day and said he couldn't get off the 1st stage, so I gave him a bit of advice. Then he came back the next day saying he *still* couldn't get past it. Then he bought a guide book for the game, and ******STILL****** couldn't get past it. And yeah, I *am* totally serious, and yes.... this is a true story Kaz
