take a look, speksnk has the direct link.
if you've seen them already, what do you say? we can't assume what the rest of the game will look like from the (usually misleading) introductory mission alone, but already i'm psyched for new faces of evil and the slide maneuver. psyched that is, if all slide ops are not as obvious as that first one, but hey, if that one leads to an alternate path it must bear well for the missions to follow. i like the first level's length after hearing there are fewer overall, better extended and quality than nothing i suppose. the only thing i didn't care for was the recycled canoe action. guess you can't win 'em all.

Here's the link to the usa snk site....in case someone doesn't have it. It's under the media section. www.snkneogeousa.com/It looks great. The scenario isn't the same as the previous games.....jungles, the storagehangar and other places, nice work there. Man,that big Slug kicks ass, it looks like a real challange to beat without dying. One thing though.....i wished they changed the voices on the enemies, they are exacly the same as the soldiers in the previous games.

Wow, MS5 seems to be going somewhere now! Its cool to see 'enemy slugs'. I like the new levels, that cave level where the ceiling comes down looks great. You guys mentioned that there are less levels, well thats bad but its good in a way couse I might have a chcnce of actually finishing this one ;D. Its cool to see a diversity of stages and enemies. The player select screen is sweet!. I was hoping for all the charactors to be in the game thougth. In some of BGM, I swear I could here smeone singing, it that true or was it me?

i hear the singing too, more like a voice that would go with an orchestra (whatever those people are called). starwars-type stuff. i'm just glad we're not hearing a clichéd drum beating in that cave.

Ms5 is way great!!! It now remembers me a little bit of SuperMario, because of the many Jump´n´Run Elements in that Game!! It´s just cool!

Yeah, it's looking very nice indeed! I'm definitely digging the soundtrack too, I wonder if it is done by Noise Factory or not? I'm guessing that it is...
You are right though seiryu - although they might not have recycled the graphics, they have recycled the sound effects for the enemies. Not that big a deal though, as the game still looks sweet, I just hope it plays well too!

Man that is some sweet stuff there. New backgrounds , new enemies. NICE work by playmore.
It seems a bit more like contra in some ways. It is not a bad thing, its good they are switching it up a little.

Looks damn cool. I've got no problem with reused sound effects either and the new stages look totally awesome.
