Weird...after applying the patch, my KOF2K3 actually become worse. When it starts the game, there is a green distorted kinda screen for a few seconds before the opening animation starts. Also in the practice mode, I can't access the menu (where you can change your power gauge).
Oh well...I guess I just stick to my bootleg version.

actually, no your romset is not messud up, the green thing in the start is the boot up of the pcb, its really normal (that happens on my MVS)
and is your romset the first bootleg version? i mean the one that came wiht its own mame, cuz the patch is for that, and if your using he bootleg for the kawaksdev, and the patch wont work, btw, check the CRC's of the roms based on the datfile i posted
