Need help with Metal Slug 5

Okay... i've downloaded 2 versions of it... one named mslug5nd & the other is mslug5...

the 1st file loads into a warning screen and halts saying "this rom file is for use of snk machines..." or something along those lines...

the 2nd file loads into the game but however the picture is distorted with garbage... i can't see the characters and background...

Which emulator are you attempting to run the ROM with?

mslug5nd is usually the correct filename for most Neo emus. You'll need to patch a few files inside the rom, look for a metal slug 5 patch on google, it's easy to find. Just unzip the patch, then copy the files in it over to mslug5nd.zip, and it should work.
