Hey ppl im back (for now anyway) and moi has a question about ROTD. I managed to get a download that runs faster than 2k a second and after inspecting it seems that I have rotdn but there is a 264-s1.bin that is missing. I tried getting the kof 2004 s1.rom file and renamed it accordingly but I still get and error coming up on mame 32k. Help..................................

Hey man, as far as emus that will let you load roms that don't always match, you've got a choice between neoragex and nebula.
You might be able to sneak the KOF2k4( 2k4?) S rom through one of those.
Was S rom the text rom? It didn't have any of the game programming right...
So yeah, if you use neorage, you'll have to rename your roms as .rom instead of .bin usually.

I'll have a look at that thanks ;D Unfortunately nebula never works for me and my version os mame32k can see rotd but the only thing I can see thats wrong is the 268-s1.bin. Whoops, 2k4? ?

actually, the s1 roms are ESSENTIAL if you wanna play the roms, and each rom/game has a unique s1, cuz the s1 provided the decryption of the C roms (gfx roms), so you just dont use 2k3's s1 for rotd

I'll try and be on msn soon ;D
