I dont know about you, but one of the things i've always loved is the violence on some neo geo games.
I think Samaurai Showdown 4 is probably the king of violence just becuase half of the body part stays there and the blood covering the winning fighter.
Last Blade 1 and 2 are also great for bloodshed (like the infamous glass pane desperation attack by setsuna)
Is Sam showdown 0 going to be as violent as 4 was?

yeah, there are some violent games on the Neo. Its a pretty adult system overall...but I think what distinguishes SNK from a lot of other companies and their franchises is the meticulous care that that SNK put into the personalities of their characters. I've said this before...but where else are you gonna be able to fight using a character that is dying of tuberculosis? Thats the kind of thing I appreciate...not necessarily the gore. ...although it is pretty fucking cool to slice a cartoon in half.  |

I'm hoping SS0 will be as violent as SS4, that was pretty much a total bloodbath  Metal Slug is violent too... in a sadistic but funny cartoon violence kind of way Kaz |

i agree, SS series really is pure bloodshed! ;D (just like the 1st OVA of Ruroni Kenshin! ) i hope in SSZero, they still have Slicing' and Dicing' Enders! ..but isnt it strange? Gaira is my fave char in 3 and 4, but How the hell does he CUT the enemy in HALF using his beads?!! anyway... that pure SNK strangeness! VICTOLY!, oh yeah, i hope in SSzero, The fixed Victoly! to Victory!, but it still sounds better in ENGRISH! Engrish is an SNK traditon! and kaz... <-this seems overused |

I loved it that you could bruse up the faces on Art of fighting,Ryo looked like two clinched buttcheekes....that one gets a nominee also....although it doesn´t come near the gore in SS.

Ill be kinda sad if they switch victoly to victory, i can't wait to hear what horribly lame yet hilarious winner quotes they'll have. Ill also be kinda pissed if the blood is toned down, playmore hasn't done anything to impress me yet (though im yet to play SvC ;D)

I also think that once again Art of fighting adn...the king of fighters 94 should be in the vliolent sections. I mean,come on.....the girls get their clothes rippet off of them to reveal the bras and stuff.........one step further and it´s rape.  Ahhh man......SNK is just sick....SICK I TELL YOU. |

I need to do a dedicated Hyper 64 cabinet so I can grab Samsho on it ;D I love when youre kicking the hell out of someone and it zooms in for a split second and shows a x-ray like look at their arm or leg and the bones snap  I always thought that was cool as hell. |

holy shit candycab, I never played any of the Hyper 64 games so I wouldn't know.
Was that hardware cartridge or Pcb based...I don't recall ever seeing a cartridge.
