I got this "kawak" emulator, and it can play capcom and neogeo game, the only problem is, I can't get the neogeo games to work, I even got the neogeo.zip file, as suggested from varies sites, and put it in my emulator rom file, but the neo games still don't work. Can somebody help me?

Need to be a bit more specific - what happens when you try to run it, what error do you get, and what game is it you are trying to run. One thing I can say is that with Kawaks the bios file doesn't need to be put into the zip file for each game, it should be in a zip called "neogeo.zip" and put in the roms dir. Take a look at the Kawaks guide on the site for more info... it's a little outdated but most of the info there should help you! Kaz

i've helped a few people with this problem...usually you have a bad neogeo.bios file....download another one....the correct size is either 56kb or 380kb depending whether it's got the unibios included.also you're neogeo roms maybe incorrect and they may need renaming.you can do this by running an audit to check the correct names.read the kawaks read me file to know how to do this. anymore probs post!!....welcome to the forums. nice username hullcityfcmad

Kaz The game I'm trying to load is Metal Slug 2, an error comes up that says it couldn't find the 000-lo.lo file. So are you saying to just leave the neogeo zip file zipped and to put it in the rom folder?

The "000-lo.lo" you refer to is the bios file. Yes, just be sure to leave it in a zip called "neogeo.zip" and put it in the roms folder. None of your roms should be unzipped or anything Kaz

Am I supposed to changed the name of something or move something somewhere?

Maybe your bios file is bad then - try redownloading it. Could you tell me what the contents of your game zipfile and neogeo.zip is?
Also, make sure that your rom directory is set correctly in Kawaks, otherwise it wont find the files.

I don't know what you mean. If you mean what files I have in the game then I have all of the 241-p,v,m, and c.bin files and thats it. I made a list of the files that are supposed to be in the game, so I know what files to look for
