Just got comformation from IGN Insider that SvC is being released on PS2 early next year and on the Xbox later, im still hoping they eventually release a copy for dc, maybe if enough people vote for it in the SNK-Capcom forums it'll happen, anyways my non MVS owning punk ass needs to buy an Xbox next year if it doesnt come out for dc This is confirmed for US release? |

Although XBOX sales have picked up in Japan, I still don't believe that they've reached a level where releasing a game in Japan only makes financial sense. As for the PS2 version, SNK Playmore have announced a U.S. release for the KoF '00/01 package, which must be an encouraging sign.

the aes conversion of SvC has been confirmed, and it seems the ps2 and xbox (tentative for the box) have been confirmed too...
still no dc though.

Lol... that's the worst fake I've seen in a long time. For one I recognise that exact shot as one that was posted recently, and secondly it is nowhere near clean enough to be from an emulator. Why do people even bother making fakes like this?  Kaz |

As much as I want to play the game REALLY badly, I'm prepared to wait. I admit that I'd play the rom if I got the chance, but if it was dumped right now it would DEFINITELY cut into some of Playmores sales... and considering how big a title this is for them, I wouldn't want to see that happen. Also, can you imagine the chaos it would cause? Capcom and Playmore would go crazy and it would bring a load of crap down on the emu scene that we really don't need. Not to mention that if they were to get past whatever security measures/encryption is in the game, that would inevitably lead to any bootlegging idiot being able to makes their own fake carts and distribute them... even if people playing the game on emus wouldn't harm them, sales of bootleg carts definitely *would*. Anyways, that's the end of my rant... I want to play the game as much as anyone else, but I have no chance because the arcades here are terrible and I can't pay $1800 for the jamma board. I guess patience is the key word here (even if it is hard)... we'll all get to play it at some point in the near future  I'm just hoping they do release a standard MVS cart though, becaause that puppy will be mine as soon as they do!
