Yeah, Talbain would be very cool indeed. I'm not sure if she would fit in, but I've always had a soft spot for Felicia too... imagine Felicia vs Cham Cham (from SS), that would be a funny as hell match Cham Cham deserved to be in more games as well... Captain Commando would be kinda cool... but Poochy?? From Matrimelee/Power Instinct? He's a funny charecter and I like him, but I don't think he'd be good in SvC2. How about turning Dante from Devil May Cry into a 2d fighter? Now *THAT* would be worth seeing. Kaz

Nice sprite edits, I think I've seen those before... it just shows how great a 2D Dante could be! Btw, only one of those pics is actually showing up, and your sig/avatar aren't working either. Probably the server that you are linking them from doesn't allow remote linking from other sites.

I would like it if they made the human form of Talbain.....don´t know why but animal forms would be a little out of place in SvC.
The Zero design is slick...very true to the original version...he even has the weapons from the MM zero game(the gun ,sword and the cool rod with the identical upward rotating move),very nicely done.

Just got comformation from IGN Insider that SvC is being released on PS2 early next year and on the Xbox later, im still hoping they eventually release a copy for dc, maybe if enough people vote for it in the SNK-Capcom forums it'll happen, anyways my non MVS owning punk ass needs to buy an Xbox next year if it doesnt come out for dc

I'm just wondering what sprite they used for Kim though? Is it his old sprite, or did they use the very nicely animated 2002 version? I'm hoping the 2002 one got used, although I get the feeling that it didn't... Kaz From this shot it´s almost sure that they used Kim´s KOF 2002 sprites...thank god. S E I R Y U

To be honest, if the two versions are close enough in detail, the PS2 incarnation is always going to win out as the standard Sony pad DOTH VERILY ROCK MANY A COCK when it comes to fighters.

the standard Sony pad DOTH VERILY ROCK MANY A COCK when it comes to fighters. Couldn't have said that any better myself, i have a ps2 and GGX did look alot better than CvS2 but id still rather have SvC on Xbox, i love my 2D fighters and i want them to look perfectly clean (Besides with Kawa-X now i can play all my fav SNK games along with SvC2 in 1 place)

seiryu: I'm glad about that According to that article over at gaming-age that was posted, Kim is very smooth, so I am assuming they have. Good news as the 2002 sprite is way better. Goemon - have you played KOF 2002? If not, check out Kim in that game... he make not look that much different in still shots, but he's a lot different in motion. Gouki: true that... in fact, the port of KOF 2000 on the PS2 is actually a bit better than the DC version imho. People may say bad things about it, but the PS2 is perfectly capable of handling a port of any Neo game. And yes, the PS2 pad is cool when you know how to use it. Have to admit though, I'm a lot better with a Neo Geo stick now... I find it hard to play SNK fighters with the PS2 pad. Kaz

As far as I'm concerned, my favorite system for 2-d brawlers, fighters imports will always be my saturn. God I love that controller. I hate playing MVC2 with the ps2 controller. The DC version was better. I still play my saturn every day. Was vampire savior 2 ever releaced on home consols? I have the 1st one imported, but I never heard of a home release.

The Mark II Sega Saturn pad was the best control device for fighting games ever. I've owned both version of MvC2, and whilst I prefer the DC one (it looks better), the PS2 pad was better for the game than the DC one.
