I've burned my emulator and roms on my CD so that i can play them on my friend's computer but when i opened the emu, these are the problems that showed:
Windows 2000: Was opened, showing all the emu contents but when i tried to load a rom, it loads it (it took a very long time), but it's just all black! nothing on screen, no sound, no graphics!
Windows NE: When i clicked the NeoRageX.exe, it takes so long to open it that i don't think it's gonna open at all!
BTW, the NeoRageX i have is the one compatible with XP, and the computers with Win2000 is a Pentium II and the NE at Pentium III. is it OS or system compatibility? do you need a different version of Neorage to be able to run the emu in different system/OS?

not sure about this one really.....maybe best to try another version....i reckon it should work with 2000 because it's not that different to xp.i reckon it maybe a system prob....whats the specs(graphics card etc) hullcityfcmad  |

not sure about this one really.....maybe best to try another version....i reckon it should work with 2000 because it's not that different to xp.i reckon it maybe a system prob....whats the specs(graphics card etc) hullcityfcmad on the win2000 it's just a Pentium II, which i guess doesn't have a decent graphics card and has the old Pentium II specs the windows NE on Pentium III was like 2 years ago, have to ask my friend about the system specs on it (though his own system is overloaded with PC games! even a PSone emu!). not yet really sure on their exact specs but i'll post em once i get to know them |

I remember using NRX on my PC back when I had 2000, so that isn't the problem. Could be system specs, but have you tried Kawaks/Nebula on there yet?

Kaz nope, i don't know how to use both kawaks and nebula, but you could be rigth on the system specs. the PC with the 2000 version is just a pentium II that hasn't been touched much or upgraded for about 3 years. but if that's the case then i'm wondering why NRX won't run on the Pentium III with windows NE on it. that same PC handled all sorts of PC games like Sims (w/ all them expansions), Vice City, etc. smoothly whereas NRX when i loaded it it just gave me this really, really long load time that i suspect won't run. oh yeah, the emu and roms are on my CD-RW. can this problem be related to the CD itself?  |

if your trying to run the rom straight from the cd that may slow it down.....copy the roms onto the hard drive and see if it makes a difference.
