First round draw...for Garou online tournament!!!

here's the draw for the first round of the tournament.we will use kawaks1.46 hacked and use the rom garoup.zip which is the prototype version.if anyone has any probs regarding the emulator or rom private message me.

Daaren vs hullcityfcmad
Darkschneider vs Kaz(if participating...if not bye)
Supremelord vs Ukyo

so there goes.....arrange between yourselves when you want to meet up and post your results in this thread.

guidelines


1.on wednesday i'll post what game has won the vote and ask people to register for the tournament....a simple yes in the forums will be ok.
2.i'd say there has to be a minimum really of 8 participants to make it worthwhile...which we should be ok on.
3.i'll make a draw on today to see who is versus who...some people may get a bye in the first round dependant on numbers.
4.i can't see us all being able to be online at once due to work/college/sleep/sex/drink commitments so we will all arrange our matches via the forums private messaging system and post results in the thread that i'll make....when a match up is complete.
5.matches will consist of a best of 9 series,first to five...with a couple of warm up matches which people can sort out between themselves.
6.i'd be tempted to say for whatever game wins the poll..choose one character and a back-up and stick to it....better for whoevers playing and for boasting rights afterwards
7.don't cheat and fall out...it's only a game
8.once the draw has been made all first round matches to be played within a week(unless anyone else needs extra time for special circumstances )
9.following round draw will be made the day after all the 1st round results are in.
10.the emulator used will be kawaks 1.46hacked
11.the rom used will be garoup.zip
12.no rom requests in this thread....all queries to myself via private message

forgot to say...if i've missed anything out....i'll post it when i get up as i'm shattered.

For this competition to work, we need to know who uses AIM, YIM and MSN msgngers. Also Kazuya i think it will be unfair if DarkS wins by default. We need a subtute for you.

What happened to using the private message function? It seems fairly straightforward to agree on a time, place etc using this, rather than waiting for an opponent to be online at the same time as you.

i've made a decision....people had plenty of time to enter the draw so if you have missed out you'll have to enter the next tournament.

another thing i forgot to add is your going to have to compare pings on certain servers so you get in a server were both competitors have a similar ping so there is as little lag as possible.i know its a bit of a chore but it's only fair.
