Definately, but just as with the svc fakes (probly the same person) they did a nice job. I wonder what inspires people to make all these fakes whenever a new game is dumped, but they are cool looking none the less.

Yeah I think it has been blurred like that for a reason - so that you can't quite see how blatantly ripped the sprite is from Real Bout Fatal Fury. I'd love to see Laurence in the game (and Krauser) but that doesn't look real to me at all.

This definetly is fake. Many Fake Pics are floating around now, I also saw one showing Kula.

I would't usually post this kind of thing, but how about this one... it looks convincing, but until I see proof it is still "fake"   Looks real because Andy has a new outfit, and because he has a very young version of Hokutumaru with him... unless it is just some VERY VERY clever sprite editing. I am either VERY happy that he is in the game, or VERY impressed with these peoples photoshop skills! Time will tell which one. Kaz |

Those screens do make sense don't they? With new look for Andy and the MOTW Terry. Looks like KOF2K3 has a lot of changes in store~ ( I Haven't done any reading on this new KOF yet) I'll find some time today to do some browsing.

Andy's costume looks like his 2k one, with a pallete swap and the edited arms.
Not saying its fake, but sometimes you can tell if its fake by dragging the file into notepad. Adobe Photoshop created images, often have the word "photoshop" in the jumble of characters you'll see somewhere in there.
I remember seeing some doctored screens of KOF98 with the boss team on a certain spanish site.

Holy Smokes  thats amazing... i want it to be real so bad but i definately know better by now, im pretty sure we would have known about him before now though if he was really in there. I think somebody is just a badass with photoshop. I had never seen that desert backround before, not 2 shabby. |

I am not going to go into any major details and I don't want to talk about this seller in a negative way as I have not purchased anything from him - however, that auction is by a well known person over at neo-geo.com called "Japhei". I'm sure some of you may have heard of him, but he has been known to sell bootlegs and these KOF 2003 boards are thought to be just that - afterall, KOF 2003 is selling for probably twice that price at well known and reliable vendors. As I said, I'm not going to say for sure that they are not legit as I have never dealt with him, but before anyone goes to make a purchase, you HAVE been warned! Kaz |
