Ahh Servbot, you've resurfaced on these forums with the release of a rom eh.... *Belches out huge laugh* DO YOUR OWN DIRTY WORK ;D
Btw yall, do you find the gameplay a little odd in this one, after playin for a long while i feel like some of the old characters lost a few moves or something... just doesn't seem right, feels like some old characters just played better in SS4.

Personally I find moves easier to do in this one then in SS4.

Anyways, goodbye Serv. i guess we'll see a few more posts from you when the metal slug 5 rom comes out. Btw, anybody feel that the hammer toting purple haired boss is a fuckin pain, my god he has so many lame striker type characters it takes some jumpin and jivin just to kill his punk ass.

Yeah the one with the girl comes in low from the front, one guy from above and the worst is the guy from the back that holds you while the guy gets his health back. I just kept moving around like crazy and getting in his face with quick jabs and punishing him occasionally with an A+C attack. The 2nd boss is really cool because he changes into and mimics the other characters moves. The third boss you have to beat at least twice and after the 2nd time you beat him he goes totally nuts with this technique that allows him to temporarily power up to an insane level.

I think i know why im not enjoying this game as much as i should, anybody noticing that a button is missing, for some reason all i got is my 2 standard slashes then kick, my d (strong) button is making my character charge up but it doesnt do any moves like in SS4, for instance hanzo's rolling slash i can't even do cause the button that should be doing it is gone... nomatter how i fool with the buttons in options i only get 3 attack buttons. Maybe thats just how its supposed 2 be but i really don't like that cause that=missing moves.

It doesn't bother me as much since I rarely ever kicked in SS1 and 2. I'm just slash happy ;D Although it does seem kinda wasted as a safe stop button. I'll have a review up later after much more playtesting.

Its not the kick button thats missing Raiken, its just one of the slashes. Now to do certian attacks i have to press a+b instead of them having their own button. Instead their is an almost useless charge button. (whoopie) Thats ok for the arcade i guess (i kinda dispise it) but i couldn't imagine doing that and still having fun on the ps2. Anyways overall a cool game, i absolutely love the new tunes and characters... But dare i say i like SS4 better the gameplay is a little more unbalanced imho & though the new backrounds aren't bad most of them don't have the same excellence as the SS4 & 3 ones and the SS4 ones that have been ported over have the little details that made them excellent ripped from them, little things like little bits of flame floating thru the air in the burning town level and light beaming through the bamboo trees level with a few trees in the foreground that can be chopped down. The night version of the ocean level was my fav. neo-geo backround in history & the new versions just mediocre. I also enjoyed the finishers 2, the only thing that would make me want 2 play this one more other than the new characters is the story mode which wasn't even translated to english Makes me sad cause the game could have been perfect
