Basically I different versions of NeoRage that i'm running off a CD, so the first one I try tells me that I need a security key to run it.
The other tells me that there is
"no disk in the drive please insert a disk into drive \device\harddisk1\DR1"
then when I cancel it says
"unable to load neogeo system bios rom 'neo-geo.rom"
I think the second problem is because the bios is on the CD but the emulator can't find it, this should be alright once I copy it off the CD onto my harddrive.
Should i get rid of the NeoRage that asks me for a security key?
Can anyone help me with this problem or give me a link to where I can get the newest version of neorage that is compatible with XP.

The config file on the cd you have is probably pointing to a HD that doesn't exist in your PC or whatever. Did you get the cd from someone else? "unable to load neogeo system bios rom 'neo-geo.rom" I think the second problem is because the bios is on the CD but the emulator can't find it, this should be alright once I copy it off the CD onto my harddrive. -Yeah, it obviously isn't finding the bios. If it is on the cd then it must be looking in the wrong place. Should i get rid of the NeoRage that asks me for a security key? Can anyone help me with this problem or give me a link to where I can get the newest version of neorage that is compatible with XP. -I say keep whatever roms you have on the CD and copy them onto your HD or wahetever, but as for the Neorage versions that are on the disc, just skip them and re-download it and do a fresh install. I *think* you can get a version of NRX that will work on XP at www.neogamez.net - although have you tried using Nebula/Kawaks? Kaz

Thanks Kaz but I downloaded neorage from neogamez again and its still askin for a security key.
Could it be because i'm on a University network and i'm trying to install something into my user area?

I'm really not sure what that problem could be at all, I'm stumped. Anyone else have any idea? Is it your own PC that you are using or a university PC? If it isn't yours, maybe your login on windows doesn't allow you to install stuff or something screwy like that... that is the only thing I can think of.
