I just got my MVS yesterday (single slot - MVS-FZ) , and I'm 22 (well, anyone younger arround?). Instead of a cab, i'm building a supergun. And those MSV cartridges are freaking rock solid!
And btw were do you buy most of your cartridges for the MVS system (here in Portugal there aint much of a choice besides ebay) ?

A welcoming oink!, to the MVSPIG.. ;D Your never too old or young for NEO GEO. I can recomend having a 4-slot, it can be a pain swapping games all the time, especially in a cab, so a multi-slot is definately the way forward.... What you need to do is get your missus to play on the Neo with you (easier said than done!!), then she wont mind the cab ;D I'm 28 BTW ;D |

Just how old is everybody here? Is almost 30 too old?? Anyways, I just got an old MVS Neo Geo system and I can't stop buying games for the beast! It's only a 1 slot but I plan on buying a 4 or 6 slot at some point.... I'm hiding this giant cab in a closet from my wife, hahahahha! The door JUST closes, it's a tight fit  Boy is she gonna be mad at me! Anybody got some cheap games to sell? Yeeehaw, I am now TOTALLY insane. |

you want my advice give, give up on net play. plus emuparadise roms IMO wroks differently from any other roms rom other hosts.

I just found Kawaks through emuparadise. Awesome program. Have already tried out Magician Lord, Street Fighter Hyper Fighting and a few others. Having some issues with graphics but I'll fix those soon I'm sure. Anyone up for some netplay on Street Fighter: HF or Mercs? If you are in the West FL area, hit me up for some low latency netplay. I'm on dialup (LOL....don't have access to dsl/cable around here).  |

Welcome No probs, if you have any questions feel free to ask and we'll try to help. You really were lucky to have a Neo when you were a kid - I tried to persuade my parents to get me one, but they pretty much laughed at me when I told them how much the games cost  . I had to make do with playing the likes of Samurai Shodown down the arcade all the time, and it wasn't until I actually went to work that I saved up and bought a system. Hey guys. I'm the new guy of the day I guess. I've been over at ASSEMbler since my brother turned me on to that place and thought I'd join here since I'm finally ready to start collecting for my favorite system of all time. We were lucky enough to have a Neo when we were kids and now that I'm in my late 20's I guess I'm trying to recapture and collect that excitement from when I was younger. I'm lucky enough to have a wife that said she's going to support me even after telling her how much the hobby can cost. Hope no one will be too frustrated with any questions that might be considered noob.
