Welcome. I'll add that i feel the same about that "certian Neo board" ;D Ditto! It seems like there are SOME cool people on there, but damn the rest of them can be pretty harsh! Oh well, these boards seem to have some cool people with great tastes and I get my other fill on DP. ;D

hello nietschedancing Welcome to the Neo Geo for Life forums! It sounds like you've been building up quite a collection. So true IMO ;D Everyone here's been a great help to me in my quest of re-discovering the SNK games I used to play in the arcades as well as recommending ones I'd never played till recently. I myself am the proud owner of an mvs/supergun set up, though am in the very early stages of starting my snk collection. (Respect to the Saturn as well! )

Hello, I'm nietzschedancing, a student from England. I got my first SNK game at 13 (Metal Slug on the Saturn) and have been hooked ever since. I got my Neo CD shortly after that, and later started collecting MVS carts. I've recently begun collecting home carts and am gingerly making new acquistions. I've been reading this board for a while and look forward to posting on it - it seems a hell of a lot more more gregarious and informative than another certain Neo board populated mostly by hysterical zealots . Anyway, it's lovely to be here and I hope you'll have me.

Oh and you better hold on to that wife of yours, common interests don't come cheap especially if she likes videogames ^_^ it's so cool that you can stick to collecting without hearing complaints about it. Lots of people I know don't share that luck. Also looking at that image at the bottom, you a comic book fan too? Thanks, I love her alot and we played Super Bomberman last night! About the comic books....yeah I'm pretty much full geek. I get into Anime, comics, toys, games (of course), Non-Sport Cards, and DVD's. I have been into games since......well forever. It will never stop, if I ever have any kids I can assure you they will be very happy!

Heya again, sorry about the late reply there. That's a pretty long list you got there and I am sure it won't become much shorter over the years either. If you like Sengoku then you should really check out the sequel which is one of the best BEU's on the console, same thing goes for Samurai Showdown. I really need to look into Viewpoint and Last Resort myself, those are two of the more valuable games right there and some of the better SEU's too. I really truly envy that copy of Last Resort but I would kill for a copy of Mutation Nation too, that is one extremely underrated game I think.

Wow, I just had a go with Last Resort (that's one expensive game you got there) a few weeks ago and that's one fine game. The graphics alone are a rock solid testament of what the Neo Geo is all about so I'm not surprised you were so into it; I could probably spend an hour just looking at it. I don't have the problem with family/girls as some people do, both me and my sister have been playing games since we were like 5 so people kinda expect it I guess ;D What other games you've got there Ken? I just read that almost half of the games for the Neo Geo are fighting games (just like 4 out of the 5 games I own so far) so you gotta have some of those right? Anyway peace out and take care of that AES of yours, I don't think they make them anymore. I do like alot of fighters, but I prefer a great shoot-em-up or sidescrolling game. I just got done playing some more Sengoku, which is a REALLY great beat-em-up! Actually my wife is really cool about games and collecting. She has a SNES, DS, and an Advance collection. She also really gets into computer real-time strategy games. with her favorites being the "Age of Empires" series. As for Neo-Geo AES games I can think of of the top of my head, here is what I've got: Last Resort Sengoku Samurai Showdown ViewPoint Mutation Nation Ninja Combat Blue's Journey Alpha Mission II Magician Lord Nam-1975 Ghost Pilots Burning Fight Crossed Swords Andro Dunos Top Hunter Cyber Lip I know I'm leaving something out, but I can't think of what. What a freakin great system!

Welcome to the forums man, us AES people should stick together no? Definitely! Just last night I was playing Last Resort for over 4 hours. I always liked the greats, you know Final Fantasy III, Dragon Warrior IV, Chrono Trigger, Lunar (all versions), Tales of Destiny, and let's not forget the all mighty GRANDIA (of course I like the Saturn version best ). I also have really liked alot of the modern classic RPG's like FF X, Arc the Lad, Disgaea, and basically anything good. Next on my plate will be Grandia III! I reached my max on videogame spanding for a little bit, so I am going to delve into Gandia III to keep me entertained for some time. Nice, Chrono Trigger is definately in my top 5 and Final Fantasy III (i'm assuming you mean the one that is FF6 in japan) is in my top 3. I suggest the Suikoden series if your one that finds the dialouge and characters most important. II on the playstation is amazing and (i just got done playing it) V on the ps2 to me is the best rpg i've ever played.
