As the title says ,I may not be around for a few months. Im going to spend some time in Livingston Montana and will most likely be moving there soon. www.livingstonenterprise.com/So I will pop in when I can or after I move and get my DSL up and running ,gotta go find a house and all that first. Ive been there before and its a great place to live ,you can rent a 3 bedroom house for about $400.00 a month all utilities paid and make anywhere from $10.00 to $20.00 per hour. Since Im retired I wont be working unless I get really bored Its about a 20 minute drive to get into Yellowstone National Park so I doubt I will get bored too fast. There are lots of lakes for fishing ,great hunting if youre into that sort of thing ? Im not really myself but at least that means lots of Deer, Elk and Moose to see wondering around. Im not really down with snow but I can handle that in trade for great people, beautiful surroundings and no more California's Imigration Bullshit ! People still speak English there and would probably smack you in the mouth if you spoke anything else to them or at least look at you funny then tell you to learn English or go back to Mexico I will probably miss the ocean but what the hell I rarely see it now Ok Im off ...I will pop in more between now and next week or so when Im leaving  |

The NGP is such a cool console with the little arcade stick right there and the camo colors. I used to have the B&W version myself but I eventually sold it as games were practically impossible to come by at the time, now that things changed however I just might have another go =D
Make sure you try SNK vs Capcom, Metal Slug 2 and Neo Turf Masters for it if you get the chance.
As for the questions;
I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean by "demo scene" but if it's the NeoGeo pocket opening intro you mean then thats some kind of copy protection segment just like with the PS1 and other consoles.
It could also be the various home brew roms that float around on the net for various consoles, most of them are just edits but there's a few actual games out there.
NGP linker could either be the link cable that allows you to connect to another NGP and in that way play games against/with friend whose got the same game.
You could also be refering to the cable that allows you to connect your NGP to a Dreamcast. If you have KOF R-2 for the NGP as an example and KOF99 Dream Match (the DC conversion of 98) then you can use the cable to exhange points and items between the two games.

Hello,  I'm moshiiii, hrm where to start. Back in the day I bought a neo geo pocket color when they were released and loved it. It took some beating and retierd to my closet with a broken case and no sub battery. Foward to 2006! With my hunger for handhelds still raging, I set my Nintendo Ds down and take out my Neo Geo Pocket Color box for old times sake. Then it hit me! The hours and days of happy gamming hunched over under a lamp playing my NGPC! Now I'm back with vengence: beat the last boss in CardFighters Clash, and obtained Flalasi and Dark Arms (which has dropped in price!). So I'm here and gonna search the furoms, maybe post a few threads, and miss-spell many words! One question: Could someone explain to me the "demo scene" and the NeoGeo Pocket Linker? |

I was actually a bidder on that one - only saw it when there was already a bid on it cos I would have PM'd you otherwise. Unfortunately, hitting heavy traffic on the way home from work meant that I could not put in another bid in the final seconds (was outbidded with two minutes to go - I found out afterwards after getting home five minutes after the auction ended  ) Still chuffed to bits with those sticks I bought from you though. |
