Welcome. Nice to meet a fellow AES owner. Only one of my carts is AES at the moment but I use a phantom 1 to play MVS carts.

Hey all, I've had my AES since 2000. Over the years I've had it modified and currently own 13 games for it. Some I bought new from the Neo store, and some are conversions. My current collection consists of: -Metal Slug (conversion) -Metal Slug 3 US -Metal Slug 5 US -Sonic Wings 3 Jap -Sengoku 3 US -Shock Troopers (jap conversion) -Nam 1975 -Top Players Golf -King of the Monsters -Fatal Fury Special -Football Frenzy I have two conversions en route to me right now and am anxiously awaiting their arrival: -Blazing Star and Neo Turfmasters I actually like the Neo for its non-fighting games more than anything. Anyway, I'm here to talk gameplay mostly, and you never know with me I might submit a review here or there. I've contributed game reviews to a couple websites including Genesis reviews to www.sega-16.com. See you on the boards. One more thing, I couldn't get this place to send me an activation email to my verizon.net account. I tried multiple times and finally used an old yahoo address to get the activation email. Just sayin. |

Dont forget the Aero Fighters games ,though a bit on the generic side they can be fun now and again. I guess its kind of like Mutation Nation and Robo Army , both are rather generic and can be fun but they are no Sengoku 3 Definitly a must own for the walk and sock gameplay fans. Hello everyone, nice to meet you all.
I'm from the UK and I'm a big gamer/anime fan. I've recently added a Consolised MVS to my gaming set-up and I'm loving it.
I'm really into my shooters and it was all the Neo exclusives that really attracted me to the system. Blazing Star, Pulstar, Last Resort, Prehistoric Isle 2 are all very very impressive games. Blazing Star is incredible for a 16-bit shooter. It's also nice having all 6 Metal Slugs sat there to play whenever I want.
Getting the actual system was a pain. The guy I was buying it off never responded to emails after the system was allegedly completed, so I had to get a 2slot system off Ebay and build the sodding thing myself. I had to enlist the help of my Step-Dad, but it now means that we actually talk, instead of the normal one-word conversations. Anyway, means I have a really nice looking CMVS now. I'll post some pictures if anyone is interested. My soldering skills are a bit shit, to be fair, but when I fired up the Neo and it actually worked I was well impressed with myself!
