This forum will be closed to new posts quite soon as the new version of the site with its own forums will be online within the next few days. Mainly counters. I just don't want to be a wuss and change the settings to level 1. Getting an AAA rating has been a pain in the ass as well as trying to be Grant. This game is so damn impossible sometimes..

Is there a FAQ or something on this game? It's been ungodly hard for me to get to the last boss for some reason. I mean, the game is set on normal like the rest of my Neo Geo games but damn this game is hard! What's the secret? Can I counter somehow like in The King Of Fighters?

It has to do with the grade you win with. You're required to get a certain average (maybe AAA, not quite sure though) to get to Kain. I'd suggest always putting your TOP at the beginning of your life bar because that helps you to win matches quickly. Winning matches in a timely manner will do a tremendous amount to help raise your grade.

Oh man! Mark Of The Wolves came in today. The marquee, the moves list, everything. Damn I love this game! So far I've been using Hokutomaru, Jae Hoon, and Kevin. It's such a freakin' awesome game!
One question though, how the hell do I get to Kain? I've only been getting to Grant and then not getting any kind of ending. I've only gotten to Kain once with Hokutomaru. Do you have to beat everyone without using a continue or something?

I'd recommend comparing the sound to an emulated version. If there's a discrepency, clean your cart and mvs slots (hell, I should probably clean mine about now).

I've noticed the neo geo screen has a few different tunes it plays. they're pretty much the same, but with different pitch and there seems to be a little background rhythm in one.
or is it doing something worse?

Oh, and another problem I've had is that when I start my machine up, I get a weird sounding introduction screen to the Neo Geo. The usual Neo Geo intro music sounds different. I haven't had this problem until I put SS2 replacing WindJammers. What's going on?
