The artwork is definitely some of the best, and 2000 had the same musical style that SNK had started in KOF 99, which I liked a lot personally. 2003 (and 2002 to some extent) went back to a more old-school style of music and while 2002 was mediocre in places and good in others, I really do like 2003's music a hell of a lot... just a shame we'll probably never hear an arranged version 
99/2000 (particularly '99) have my fave KOF music overall, in fact 99 is one of my personal favourite SNK soundtracks period.
