You have to remember that they did lose a lot of their workers when the old SNK went bankrupt, and it's never really been totally clear how many of the old staff are still remaining at SNKP. If they hired new staff that hadn't worked on Neo stuff before then the games are bound to have a different feel and it takes a while for the new people to get a feel for what they re doing etc etc. I think that they have gradually improved and KOF 2003 was the first TRULY great game SNKP have released (along with Matrimelee from Noise of course) and it certainly seems like KOF MI will be a game worthy of the SNK name (possibly SS0 Special too?)... the jury is still out on the atomiswave stuff though, but I agree with hullcity that hopefully the AW will be great given time. I'd never wish for SNKP to go down the plughole, it's one of the few companies left that provides us with a 2D gaming fix so we have to at least be thankful for that, even if their games have been a bit of a mixed bag . So long as they keep improving then I'll be happy. Kaz
