High score info etc as far as I know is stored on the mvs board itself... for instance, when I got my old 1 slot it already had a bunch of scores saved on there for games I hadnt played yet, and I had to delete those using the settings menu.
I've never heard of MVS games being bigger than their AES counterparts... where did you hear that? (unless I'm just being ignorant/forgetful
