Actually it's officially called the "Slugnoid" but I refer to it as the Slug Mecha cos I prefer that name and think it is more descriptive. I don't suck too bad at Metal Slug btw, but I'm not up to the same level as people who can finish MS3 on one life (yes life, not credit 
).
As for the secret you found, there's tonnes of things in all the MS games like that, and I listed a lot of the ones I know in my reviews. You need to find them if you want to maximize your score ;D
