They will still get released in the east (Japan etc) as its just Sony America (SCEA) that won't approve the games, probably because they are all 2D and they don't like that (lame). If you look at a lot of other 2D games that Sony *has* approved, you'll notice they tend to have 3D backgrounds (CVS2) or flashy gfx (Guilty Gear). If they don't then they just tell the developers to get lost... I think it's because they are worried that mainstream gamers will see them and think they are crap.
No word on ports of MS4 or 5 yet... to be honest I can't see them bothering with 4, unless they release 4 and 5 as part of a bonus pack or something.
