No your not. Every kof seems to get a hard time for the art work and most people like kof 98 best. Have another look at the in game art, then look at 97 too, iori could not be more deformed! At least from kof 99 on the artists have actually bothered to learn anatomy. I like the artwork in 2001 and 2002 best, I thought the style was so much better than the run of the mill anime stuff that seems so popular. Falcoon just manages to escape the anime trap and I did like his 2003 works.
