With the exception of Vice and King, the female portraits actually look pretty good. Some male portraits are quite disappointing though. Is it just me...some of the characters look like they haven't washed their hair for days e.g. Kyo.
The backgrounds look amazing. I especially like the stage where Mai and Athena fight. And notice these two screenshots:

Kula seems to have a new 'stage effect' for Freeze Execution. And the power gauges below are frozen as well.
