You may be right... I suppose it would be a lot easier to have them all in one place. What I might do is place a poll on the front page and see what the general opinion of the sites visitors is, because at the end of the day it is you guys that use it 
There will probably be some sort of site redesign at some point, so whichever way the site goes, it will be incorporated into the site well so it is nice and easy to find what you need.
