I'm new to the forums as well. My name's Chris, but I go by B. Kai. I'm just now getting back into all things Neo Geo after about 8 years away.
I've had both the CD and home cart systems in the past (although I get by in arcades and Dreamcast these days). The CDZ is a great little system if you don't mind the wait (I didn't at the time), and the price you mention doesn't sound all that bad. Over the last few years the pricing on home carts has become pretty outrageous, so it's hard to recommend that route to anybody. But no new games for the CDZ makes that a pretty crummy choice too, I'd say.
Kaz, I just checked out your info about MVS, and I've got to say I'm convinced that it's an excellent option. Thanks very much for the info!
