Could be that one of hte sound chips on the board has been damaged, but I'm not the best person to ask about that... you might want to try asking on neo-geo.com (tech support forum) as a lot of people there would know. The only other thing I can think of is to try cleaning all your carts, and perhaps the actual connector on the board itself if you can. For tips on this check out www.hardmvs.com which is a great place to go to for MVS board info if you haven't checked it already. I also suggest pushing the cart (gently) all the way into the slot, and if that doesn't work, pull it a little way out of the slot again, maybe a milimetre or so, then turn the machine back on. I know this sounds dumb, but there have been so many times where I have got bad gfx/sound and after pulling the cart back out a tiny bit and/or cleaning it, it's been totally fine. MVS carts are a bit fussy at times  Hope that helps, Kaz
