Ok, we all know that in many ways the "new generation" of SNK, SNK Playmore have been very disappointing at times, and there are many things that we want to see from them that we haven't yet... and they certainly haven't trod any new ground or attempted to push the envelope like the old SNK did in their prime. However, over the years things have steadily changed, and this year so far in particular we've seen some encouraging signs.
We've got Neo Geo Battle Coliseum soon, Samurai Shodown Tenka, KOF XI, possibly a new Metal Slug for the AW, not to mention home ports such as KOF: Neowave (and eventual home ports of the aforementioned AW games). There's certainly a long way to go (an understatement) before the majority of fans will ever hold them in the same high esteem as the original SNK, and I suppose it is a matter of opinion over whether you think SNKP have improved.... however that is basically the point of this poll; are you happy with the direction SNKP are moving in, or do you hate them with a passion and believe they are crapping over SNK's legacy from a great height?
Let us know how you feel, and why... and what you think SNKP could do to improve things. Personally I think that other than finally drawing some proper hi-res sprites and genuinely using the power of the Atomiswave, they really need to improve customer relations some more, and to actually work harder at getting the ports of their games released much more quickly. I know they have problems getting games published on the PS2 for instance (when it comes to Sony America in particular), but I still feel that they take far too long in doing it... look at how long the port of Neowave has taken! Perhaps there are other reasons that we don't see, but taking this long to release games doesn't do them many favours if you ask me.
