;D Other than kof98 i play 2k1 based on gameplay and character variety, id say its just above kof99 for my second fav. kof. I recognize that the bg's and music suck but thats not why i play a game, kof 2k1 has about all the characters of 99 but a shit load more good ones to add a whole lot to the replay value plus the darker colors used for the sprites look better imo & i concentrate on them way more the the bg's. Out of all the kof's 2k1 is FAR from the weakest, lots of great characters that enable me to play it almost endlessly.
