Why so? My knowledge of this episode is limited. To cut a long story short, when they bought SNK they really messed them up bad. Aruze is a massive company in Japan when it comes to Pachinko slot machines etc and I think the main reason they actually wanted SNK was so that they could just use their IP's to make new slot machines based on SNK characters etc (probably anyway). They really did a lot of bad things to SNK - in fact, SNKP ended up suing them eventually for varying reasons. Although SNK was never really *that* well managed, Aruze are probably *one* of the causes of the original SNK closing... Also, it was pretty much down to Aruze that the NGPC died if I remember correctly. Even though the sales of it weren't too bad, Aruze decided they wanted to pull the plug on it because it wasn't doing the sort of numbers that they were used to or something. This left a lot of retailers over here very pissed off because they were actually doing fairly well on it, and obviously SNK/NGPC fans who had bought the machine only a few months earlier were left pretty pissed too. Overall, Aruze is a chapter in SNK's history that is probably best forgotten Kaz
