It does make good business sense, and although some people seem annoyed by it, I think it will be good in the long run. If it means that SNKP can stay in business and it gives them the money to keep bringing us 2D games, then I'm happy. And if they merge/form a partnership with Sammy, then it will mean higher quality games hopefully. Sammy Vs SNK doesn't sound like a bad idea in fact, althoough Sammy Vs Capcom will be first. How about Sammy Vs SNK Vs Capcom?
It may also mean that they slowly begin to ditch the Neo Geo in favour of better arcade hardware and also home systems like the PS2, which will be very sad, but if it brings us better games (both in terms of gfx and gameplay) then I am all for it! I'm beginning to think 2004 will be a very good year for 2D fans ;D
