Yeah, I doubt they will let it just die off, but no-one knows right now what they are going to do with it exactly, apart from SNKP of course. SS5 probably wasn't the best way to finish the series off on the Neo Geo, but I'd really like to see it move to another system now. Provided they actually have people on board that are talented enough to do justice to an SS game, then moving it to Atomiswave or something would be a much better idea.
I am still beginning to think that the old SNK did almost all the work on SS5 before they went bust, and then SNKP and Yuki just patched what they had together to make a "finished" game. SS5 is good, but it lacks many things including an English story mode, fatalaties, and it has some very badly balanced characters (probably the worst in the series to date). Maybe I am talking complete crap, but I would be REALLY interested to see exactly what staff SNKP still have on board from the old SNK.
