All of this reminds me of the days (around 95-96) where you were only able to choose between 10-12 characters. That's almost nothing when compared to the impressive character roster we're getting nowadays. The advantage however was that designers had more time to perfect each character's looks and animation. Nothing seemed out of place. Nowadays, most companies have a marketing department that's far more influential than the R&D. That translates itself into more money-making and shorter deadlines for the designers. Combine that with an increased workload... the consequences are visible. I still admire what I'm getting though  Yeah, I'm just glad to be able to play some new 2D games, as they have been a dying breed for a long time now  Kaz
