I actually kinda like Chin, but mainly because I really love the movie Drunken Master, and he is basically a homage to that character.
More useless movie trivia time - Drunken Master 1 starring Jackie Chan was directed by Yuen Woo Ping (action director for the Matrix/Crouching Tiger/Kill Bill), who was the son of the old guy who starred as Jackie Chans "Drunken Master" in the same movie
