Yeah it will always be the same res while it is on the Neo Geo, but it looks like this years KOF could be the final one on this hardware. I think after the KOF 2003 hype dies down after the home cart has been released etc, you will start to see some hype building for the Atomoswave game, although we still don't know exactly what form this game will take.
There is also the matter of the PS2 KOF game, the one that is supposed to be 3D. I still don't hold very high hopes for that game, but you never know...
