I'm sure this is pretty old news, but many shrugged this off as fake. I confirmed earlier today at the Arcade in Chinatown (Philly) that POPPY is playable!
Highlight Galford on the character select screen, then move right, left, left, right, right, left, left, right and than hit "a" for her standard color and "b" or "d" for her alternate colors.
She plays pretty weird, little how you'd expect her to play actually. I'm sticking to Genjuro though.
