why is snk making games based on old hardware?

why is snk making games based on old hardware specs? why cant snk make thier games pcb like SVC. making the new pcb boards have new graphic chips and better sound chips? dont get me wrong last blade has great graphics and sound but some of neogeo games like MOW has average sound effects compared to last blade. im sure its due to to the fact that they pushed for better graphics on MOW but had to sacrifice on sound. this is because the hardware they working on is outdated. sure they find new ways to mess with sprits and sound, but im sure they can do better. dont get me wrong i still LOVE neogeo. I just want to see them change the technology they work with. im sure they can make games in pcb form from now on. i dont mind switching my 2 slot for a pcb to play thier next generation games. If anyone knows why they havent done any changes on technology they use plz teach me what you know. Im interested in learning about neogeo or snk same to me
