Agreed. I know most people consider it a very small thing (and it *is* small compared to the actual gameplay), but adding little bits of story or character interactions makes the game that little bit cooler imho. The KoF series still has what I consider to be some of the best pre-fight intros between certain characters, and also some of the coolest win poses etc.
Although you may tire of them after a few viewings, the pre-fight stff in SvC is also hella cool
