Yeah I think it would be ok, and plus we aren't actually linking to bad material, we are linking to sites carrying torrent files (and the torrents in question aren't exactly for movies or games etc etc). I'm still yet to see a fansub group taken down, and until I am told different by the powers that be, I can't see it being a problem 
The other reason that I wouldn't link directly to torrent files if possible is because the webmasters of the sites in question wouldn't appreciate it too much, so it is best to just link to the website itself so people can click through
