wellllll.... you need to learn who the governing body of European football is first. Who is this EUFA? You said that on MSN earlier too
. Oh and I only messaged you cos of the comment you had next to your nick, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.
"Im not a proper supporter i just watch whoever i like (not the best teams cuz i even prefer leicester over liverpool)"
As I said, proper supporters don't just like the best teams. Liverpool have been far from the best for years but it's pretty much in my blood, it's like a religion to me in fact. That's why I feel so strongly about this stuff. I still wonder how people who say they aren't glory supporters end up supporting a team like AC Milan. You aren't Italian to the best of my knowledge, I don't think you have Italian relatives, so how did you end up supporting them exactly? It always makes me wonder how people that don't even live in the country in question only end up supporting the top foreign teams... why not Perugia, Ancona, Brescia, Lecce or some of the other low teams? I follow a fair bit of foreign football and have great respect for the two Milan teams, Juve, Barcelona etc etc, but could never see myself supporting them.
For the record one of the reasons I get wound up when someone attacks Liverpool fans is due to bad memories of the Hillsborough disaster, which was also blamed on Liverpool fans, but that blame was far from the truth. Obviously I wasn't there, but I do remember the day vividly and it will live with me forever unfortunately. Go read some in-depth accounts of that day from people who were there, and you might understand a little bit about it. Liverpool is like a big family, so when this shit happens it is happening to your own. For this reason, I can understand exactly why even to this day, some Italian fans feel angry towards us after Heysel.
I was overjoyed not only to see the fans in Liverpool, and to see our boys holding the cup, but also to see the two teams fans NOT fighting with each other over in Istanbul. There had been so much said about how our fans would clash with the Italians, about how Inter Milan fans had caused trouble earlier on in the Champions league and how it would happen with AC Milan, about how Turkish fans would pick on us in and outside the stadium, and about how some of the well known Scouser firms members had got over there and were determined to cause trouble. Happily this couldn't have been further from the truth. A few minor incidents aside, it looks like nothing bad happened, which I think is a credit to everyone involved, not just us but both Italians, Turkish and anyone else who happened to be out there.
That's what football is really about, not petty arguments cos a team lost fair and square.
