Why would that piss you off though? Darth is meant to be evil... can't be pure evil if you spare people now can you 
. Besides... they obviously had powers. Who's to say they wouldnt grow up and try to get revenge? The smart bad guy would kill off any threat, and if you are pure evil you wouldn't be concerned with killing anyone, kids or not.
