Maybe there is a programme "calling home" whenever it can that uses all resources and bandwidth.
We'll never know.
Tis a brand new motherboard and I'm having the same prob I had before I upgraded to this one, so there should be no physical reason. The only thing I can think of is a problem with memory, but I think we checked that before. Also windows has just been re-installed so the only thing I got on here now is anti virus/firewall software and nothing else really.
I've had the PC on for the past couple of hours and no lockups yet, it would be nice if it stayed this way but there obviously must be something wrong somewhere... just a case of finding it, but it aint easy.
