Iron Chef is actually a Japanese TV show that plays on "Food Network" where a current popular Japanese Chef takes on an "Iron Chef" (usually older chefs that where famous from a long time ago) and make dishes using the same main ingredient which is finally judged by a panel of people.
It's mainly just funny to watch for the really kooky dubbing. It's not exactly a show i'd watch seriously considering i know nothing of japanese cuizine. Anyways for some reason i used to find myself watching it sometimes.
