lol I feel youre pain ...Im 6'3 275 so most things can be either to tight or too short ;D
Years ago I had a 1970 240 with 3 Webbers ,mild cam and header with Eibach springs and Bilsteins on it.
A friend of mine had nice blown 350 in his ,while mine was no slouch his was insane at about 600hp...but man what a fun toy
Interestingly enough the two guys that started Scarrab industries { origional V8 240z guys } are still around in San Jose Ca { not Scarrab anymore } and currently making motor mounts ,drivelines ,tranny mounts and rearends for the 350Z so it can take a small block chevy.
A good friend has a base 350 that has groundforce coilovers ,Jim Wolf sway bars and intake plate,17pound flywheel [ stock is 30 ] ,true Nismo wheels with Z rated rubber of course ,some trick 2 piece exhaust that actually makes power unlike the Borlas and the other crap on the market that only fall apart in a few months
He just put a Quaif diff in it and is putting a blower on it next month ...should put out about 400hp at the rear reliably.
He's a nut and has been talking about a blown small block so i imagine that will be in his future ;D
The 350 is a really great car for the money ,he opted for the stripper since its over 600 pounds lighter then the other models with all the fufah crap on them that he would have pulled off the car anyways.
Actually if I could fit in one I would buy a 90 Miata and drop a blown 302 in it since its pretty simple, relativly low cost and can be CARB legal in Ca
