whoa that's totally something! it really pays to be alert while driving to decrease the chance of a mishap. good thing nobody got hurt there. it's lucky that you and my late cousin didn't share the same fate. in his case, he died while he was a passenger in his friend's car who was drag racing at the time. the car crash wasn't too bad (it only hit a tree in after swerving at moderate speed if i can still remember), but it's a freak accident since a branch (or was it a shard of glass?) lodged into his throat while his friend and his girlfriend (who was at the back seat) suffered only minor scratches. totally sad too since he was still 19 at the time
