It would appear that he has now, just watched the interview with him and it's clear how he feels about the stuff that's happened. He has said that he isn't proud of the past few days, and he wants no clauses in his contract that will let him quit easily if things don't go well, and he has even offered to give up the captains armband, but Benitez has refused. The biggest thing for me is that he's shown he still loves the club, and FINALLY this shit can end and he can just get on with playing football and helping us win matches like we know he can.
