Who's in most need to be sent to the loony bin?

I'm not homophobic or anything... but a comedian I watched once once made a good point. When gays go on gay rights parades, why do they all insist on wearing fruity outfits etc etc? Sometimes literally... at the last gay rights parade here when they went walking through the town centre I did actually see one guy with a pink outfit with what appeared to be a friggin fruit bowl on his head! Some of those outfits really were insane.

So... if they are that serious about getting more rights/respect for gay people... is dressing like a total fruit (causing 99% of straight guys to laugh at you) the best way to go about it?
